Our History
West Road Electric began on May 1, 1999, when Jason Olson purchased the long‑standing local business from Ken Johnson. The company’s roots stretch back to the 1960s under the names H & R Electric and later Ken’s Electric, serving the community for generations.
Jason entered the electrical trade in high school and later attended technical school in Green Bay, focusing on residential wiring and electrical code. After returning home, he gained extensive experience in older home wiring, knob‑and‑tube systems, farm irrigation, and corn dryers.
In 2013, Jason earned his Master Electrician License, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
In 2026, Jazlynn Olson officially joined West Road Electric as a Beginner Electrician after spending seven summers as a helper. She has gained valuable knowledge of the electrical trade and is currently working toward becoming a Journeyman Electrician. Jazlynn now serves as Co‑Owner, continuing the family tradition of quality electrical service.
